Every month at Park View, we take a moment to say thank you to someone whose work has made a real difference to life in the home. This month, one name wasn’t enough.
We’re proud of everyone who works at Park View. But over the past few weeks, one group has stood out. Our wellbeing team, led by Lorraine, has given so much of themselves that we couldn’t pick out just one person. So this month, the award goes to all of them.
The team behind the smiles
Lorraine heads up wellbeing at Park View, with Krystal, Lisa, and Gemma alongside her. Together, they fill the days here with company, music, and something to look forward to. They know who loves a singalong and who’d rather sit in the garden with a cup of tea. They can tell when someone needs a laugh and when they need a quiet word.
That kind of care rarely makes the headlines, but it’s what makes Park View feel like home.
A summer to remember
This summer, the team went further still. They planned and put on a summer party that residents, families and staff are still talking about. Pulling off an event like that takes weeks of preparation on top of the day-to-day. Through all of it, they kept residents entertained, included and looked after.
A well-deserved evening out
To say thank you, we’ve given the wellbeing team a gift card for an evening out together. After the summer they’ve had, it’s the least they deserve.
