Fourteen years of welcoming people through our doors. Fourteen years of shared stories, laughter, support, and care. Fourteen years of building something that truly feels like home.
On the 20th of April, we celebrated 14 years of Park View Care Home here in Ipswich, Suffolk, and safe to say… we didn’t do it quietly.
Dancing Queens, Sequins, and a Lot of Smiles
This year’s celebration came with a theme, and not just any theme… ABBA.
From the first note, the whole home came alive. Residents, families, and our team filled the space with music, laughter, and the kind of energy that reminds you what a care home should feel like.
There was singing. There was dancing. There may have been a few questionable dance moves (we won’t name names).
A huge thank you to Chelsea Francis, who had everyone up on their feet. It wasn’t just a performance — it was a moment. The kind people talk about long after the music stops.
The People Who Make It Happen
Days like this don’t just appear out of nowhere. They’re built by people who care enough to make them happen.
A special thank you to our wellbeing team, Lorraine, Gemma, and Krystal, who bring energy, creativity, and genuine joy into the home every single day. They don’t just organise activities… they create moments.
And to Amy and our kitchen team, the food, the cocktails, the birthday cake… honestly, you outdid yourselves.
Then there’s the whole team. Dressing up. Getting involved. Fully committing.
